BOOKLETS AND PRINTED CASES
CUT MARKS
You have to mark with small lines the points where the machine has to cut. These lines have to coincide with the accurate measure of the document. In order to know the measures you can consult or download the PDF file you have in the top, mark as MEASURES.
INDENT
It is indispensable to indent every document. The indent consists on leaving 2mm in the outer sides of the design area. This means that if an standard CD booklet measures 120x242mm, this will be the point where we will mark the cut marks, , but the complete document must measure 124x246mm. This have to be done in order to avoid the appearance of white borders if, in the cutting of the paper, it will be any little displacement. Of course every text and images of the design must be inside the cutting measures area (120x240mm in this case).
IMAGES
The images resolution at 100% size must be 300 ppp.
The image type must be CMYK.
RGB IMAGES ARE USELESS! .
TEXTS
For PC: Font files must be enclosed.
For MAC: Courslayout every text.
BLACK BACKGROUND: for black backgrounds it is better to use this percentage: C40/M40/Y40/K100.
In this way you obtain a more intense black in the cuatricomy printing.
ACCEPTED FILE FORMATS
- COREL DRAW preferable
- Others: FREEHAND, PHOTOSHOP, QUARKXPRESS and TIFF
The CD Or DVD
There are two ways of printing the CD or DVD.
SILKSCREEN. Useful when you have a desing with little and evident colours, that is, when there are no pictures . You must use plain colours (PANTONE) until a maximum of 5 colours. Without indent.
OFFSET . It is better when the design have pictures. You can work with plain colours (PANTONE) or with CMYK depending on the quantity of colours it will have. Without indent.
LOGOS AND REFERENCES
CD and DVD:
The logo of the label must appear on the record and on the external part of the inlay. On the record ,you also have to include, next to the logo, the reference numbers and legal deposit, and also the SGAE initials, that indicate the authorization of the Sociedad General de Autores for the diffusion of works included in the Cd or DVD.

We provide you the reference numbers and the legal deposit at the moment we agree on the manufacture of the CD or DVD.
On the inlay, next to the logo, you have to put this inscription: LEMONSONGS Apto. Correos 330 12560 Benicasim (Castellón).
On the sides of the inlay you must also write the reference number.

In case of designs for digipack cases, card board sleeves, mini-books, plastic cases for DVD or other personal formats, It is on the back where you have to include what it is on the inlay.
CASSETTES:
The logo, the reference numbers, legal deposit and SGAE initials, must be printed on the tape.
In the graphics you only have to include the logo and the reference on the side or back.
VHS:
The logo, the reference numbers, legal deposit and SGAE initials, must be printed on the label on the tape.
In the graphics you have to include the reference on the side and the logo on the back with the inscription "LEMONSONGS Apto. Correos 330 12560 Benicasim (Castellón)".
